Mr. Zafar Iqbal Yousafzai was previously associated with the Strategic Vision Institute, Islamabad as a Senior Research Associate. He has authored The Troubled Triangle: US-Pakistan Relations under the Taliban’s Shadow (London/New York: Routledge, 2021). He holds a master’s in Political Science from the University of Peshawar and an MPhil in International Relations from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He regularly contributes articles and interviews to various national and international newspapers and magazines in his area of expertise which encapsulates US-Pakistan relations, the Taliban, the South Asia region, Iran, and great power politics in the region.
