Director Aerospace & Warfare at CASS, Lahore, with 33 years of PAF service. A PhD in International Relations, he has held key command, academic, and advisory roles, authored research works, and co-authored the PAF Air Doctrine-2007.
Dr Air Commodore Naveed Khaliq Ansaree, TI(M) (Retd) is currently serving as Director Aerospace & Warfare at Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies, Lahore. He has also been a former Academic Advisor and Dean of Global Study Centre as well as Sponsor Director of National Security and Research Methodology phases at Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore. He has done Doctorate of Philosophy in International Relations (CGPA-4/4) from Karachi University, and Masters in Strategic Studies from Deakin University Australia. He is a graduate of Centre for Defence & Strategic Studies, Australian Defence College, Canberra as well as twice faculty member of PAF Air War College, Faisal Karachi. His research articles has been published in several journals of international repute. He has also been a co-author of PAF Air Doctrine-2007. He has been recipient of several academic and professional awards including Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military).
Dr Ansaree during his 33 years of service in Pakistan Air Force has flown several fighter and trainer aircraft as well as civil airliners after retirement. His command, staff and instructional assignments include Advisor to Royal Saudi Air Force, command of a PAF combat squadron, flying wing and a base as well as Senior Air Staff Officer of PAF Southern Air Command.
