Faiza Abid

Research Assistant

Faiza Abid is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Aerospace and Security Studies (CASS), Lahore. Her areas of interest include national security, foreign affairs, economic policy, and warfare.

Education

She holds an MPhil in International Relations from Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore, where she also completed her Bachelor (Hons.) in International Relations.

 

Professional Experience

She serves as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Aerospace and Security Studies (CASS), Lahore, where she conducts in-depth research on issues related to national security, foreign affairs, and aerospace strategy. In addition to her role at CASS, she has prior experience as a research intern and editor at an international news desk, where she gained valuable exposure to news analysis, content production, and editorial work.

 

Areas of Interest

Her areas of interest include International Relations, geopolitics, diplomacy, foreign policy-related issues, and the evolving global order. She is particularly interested in examining how shifts in global power structures, diplomatic engagements, and strategic policies shape international stability and impact national security.

 

Academic Contributions

Faiza regularly writes research papers, policy briefs, and opinion articles on a wide spectrum of international and strategic issues. Her work has been published in HEC-recognised journals, including the NUST Journal of International Peace & Stability and Margalla Papers.
